Rene Camille Prevost passed peacefully on Thursday, October 19th, 2023. Rene was born into a large family on November 16th, 1931 in Girardville, Quebec. He worked in the forestry industry for most of his working career, for 34 of those years he primarily worked as a faller. Rene enjoyed gatherings with family and friends, listening to all kinds of music, playing crib, gardening, and helping family members with projects. He is survived by his loving wife Yvette of 68 years, his daughter Ginette, his son Richard (Sherri), and grandkids; Pierre, Kiah (Nate), and Eve.
A service will be held on Thursday, November 9th (1 p.m.) at Dignity First Memorial. The family sends heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Eden Gardens and Dr. Herman Visser for their extra special care, plus the devoted staff of NRGH.
He is now at peace and will
