In Loving Memory ~
Angus lost his final battle with addiction, at home in Maple Bay in the early hours of October 12.
Angus leaves behind his mom Donna Wakefield, father Clair Wakefield and stepmom Carol, his siblings Shea and Kenzie, and his love Farah.
Also greatly feeling his loss are aunt Anne, uncle Norman, and cousins Denise, Gordon, David, Chantelle, Darba, and Darcy. Also left are his countless friends.
His complex larger than life personality and talent will be much missed. Angus graduated from Cowichan Senior Secondary, and from the Malaspina College Art Program and Vancouver Film School.
After VFS he worked for a variety of studios in Vancouver and afar. He taught VFX for a term at Harbin College, China, where he did ride a camel, as well as at Capilano College.
His own company was the famous Red Arm Studio, though which he completed many VFX projects. Angus was a skateboarder and a snowboarder. He enjoyed martial arts, working out, and the Vancouver wrestling scene. He was a big fan of GWAR, Motorhead and other heavy metal bands.
Angus and Farah were completing a move to Vancouver, now not to be.
