Travel advisories have been lifted for Vancouver Island, according to Drive BC, with all major roads reported as bare and wet.
#BCHwy1 #BCHwy17 #BCHwy18 Travel advisories have been rescinded for #VanIsle. All major roads are bare and wet, some left hand turn lanes, acceleration lanes, on/off ramps, and side roads may remain snow covered and will be plowed by priority status. Drive with care #YYJ

Main routes in Greater Victoria, including the Trans-Canada Highway and the Pat Bay Highway, are clear, though some left hand turn lanes, acceleration lanes and on/off ramps may be slushy.
Though the snowfall warning has ended for the region, accumulated snow is still on the ground on some side roads.
Just drove someone downtown and back from Metchosin via Metchosin Rd/Old Island Highway/Gorge. Roads were mostly clear. Back streets and parking lots not so clear. Word of advice: top up your windshield washer fluid! #yyjtraffic

Roads are still slippery & many are snow covered. With warmer temps on the way, melting snow & slushy conditions can make driving even more difficult. Same message applies…slow down, give yourself extra time & stopping distance & stay alert. #slush #messyroads #yyjtraffic
