Oceanside RCMP received 319 complaints the week of July 9 to July 15.
Some of the incidents included:
July 9
• A nighttime prowler was reported at the Englishman River Provincial Park, Errington Road.
• Nighttime prowlers were reported to have vandalized a business in the 3800 block of Island Highway West, Qualicum Beach.
• A nighttime prowler was reported around a construction site on Mulholland Road, Parksville.
July 10
• A business break-and-enter was reported in the 100 block of Alberni Highway, Parksville. An outdoor compound fence was cut and numerous items including a 100-foot garden hose, a Sunjoe 16-inch mower and a Mr. Heater with propane tank were reported missing.
• Two nighttime trespassers were reported to have caused fire damage to a business out building in the 400 block of Island Highway East, Parksville.
• A courier-delivered package was reported stolen in the 2700 block of Island Highway West, Qualicum Beach.
July 11
• A vehicle was reported vandalized with damage to the driver’s door on Dunbar Way, Parksville.
• A local resident reported being defrauded of $300 responding to a romance website.
• A wallet containing money was turned in to Oceanside RCMP by a business on Collins Drive, Nanoose Bay, on July 11. The owner was found and property was picked up on July 12.
• A wallet containing money was turned in to Oceanside RCMP by a resident who found it at the Parksville Community Park. The owner was found and picked up property the same day.
• A 2014 Starcraft 26-foot travel trailer was reported stolen from a property in the 1700 block of Alberni Highway, Coombs.

July 12
• Pallets were set on fire behind a business in a reported case of arson in the 200 block of Island Highway East, Parksville.
July 13
• Approximately 12 gallons of fuel were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 1000 block of Lee Road, Parksville.
July 14
• A large amount of fuel was reported stolen from a work site in the 900 block of Chatsworth Road, Whiskey Creek, on July 14.
• A yellow Norco Buzz e-bike which was secured with a chain was reported stolen in the 1000 block of Station Road, Coombs.
• B.C. front licence plate PH049D was reported stolen from a vehicle parked at the Parksville Community Park.
July 15
• A Canada Post mailbox was reported damaged by vandalism near Marina Way and Brynamarl Road, Nanoose Bay, on July 15.
