Victoria police arrest wanted man convicted of second-degree murder

Jamie Hunt was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant

A 41-year-old man who was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant has been arrested.

Jamie Hunt turned himself in at Victoria police headquarters on Friday (Dec. 29).

Hunt was wanted for breaching conditions of his parole after serving a life sentence for second-degree murder in 2007.

On Thursday, Victoria police asked for help from the public to find hunt.
