More than 3,000 customers from East Sooke to Port Renfrew are without power. (B.C. Hydro)

Sooke Region bears brunt of snow-induced power outages in Greater Victoria

Smaller outages reported in Victoria, Saanich and Peninsula

More than 4,500 people across the Greater Victoria region are without power due to snowy weather.

The hardest hit area is the Sooke Region where more than 3,ooo homes and businesses from East Sooke to Port Renfrew are without power.

Smaller outages are reported in Victoria, Saanich and the Peninsula.
