RCMP seek public’s help identifying suspects in Qualicum Beach break-in

Two suspects allegedly broke into The Source electronics store on Dec. 16

Oceanside RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance identifying two suspects who broke into a Qualicum Beach business during the early morning hours of Dec. 16.

Police were alerted to an alarm from The Source electronics store in the 700 block of Memorial Avenue at approximately 1:15 a.m., according to an RCMP news release.

Investigators discovered upon arrival the front glass door had been smashed and several electronic items had been stolen.

Surveillance video from the store recorded two suspects committing the break-in.

One suspect wore all-white clothing with a black balaclava and carried a red Hilti bag.

The second suspect wore a black hooded jacket with white Carhartt lettering on the left sleeve, a grey scarf, grey sweatpants, white running shoes and green gloves.

If anyone recognizes the suspects or their clothing, they are asked to contact the Oceanside RCMP at 250-248-6111 to speak with investigators, quoting police file No. 2023-13166.
